Apprentice Plumber

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Plumber to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the plumbing industry. The Apprentice Plumber will work under the supervision of experienced plumbers, assisting with various plumbing tasks and learning essential skills required for a successful career in plumbing.

Duties

• Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform plumbing tasks effectively.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to understand project requirements.
• Support experienced plumbers in construction plumbing, including pipe threading and assembly tasks.
• Participate in field service activities, ensuring high-quality workmanship on all projects.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area on construction sites.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
• Gain experience in related areas such as HVAC, carpentry, remodeling, and maintenance as needed.

Experience

• Prior experience in construction or construction plumbing is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and understanding of plumbing systems are advantageous.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic math skills is essential for success in this role.
• Previous exposure to construction site environments will be beneficial for adapting quickly to job demands.
