Chief Plumber - 40h Days

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40*

M-F 7am-3:30pm, on-call once every 12 weeks

Under the general direction of the Utilities Manager and within established Hospital and departmental policies and procedures and in accordance with applicable codes and practices performs a wide variety of testing, repairs, maintenance, and record keeping for plumbing and medical gas systems and equipment.RequiredSkills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:

• A thorough understanding of plumbing and medical gas system codes, regulations and practices
• Able to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, access crawl spaces; able to work extra shifts, able to work in harsh environment, such as boiler rooms, mechanical spaces, crawl spaces
• Ability to read and understand blueprints

Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:

* Massachusetts Master Plumber License

Educational Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent

License/Certification

* Massachusetts Journeyman Plumber License
