Commercial HVAC Pipefitter

Austin Air Services is a growing commercial HVAC company seeking an experienced Pipefitter to join our team. We are looking for a motivated individual who takes pride in quality workmanship, works well with a team, and is committed to safety.

Responsibilities

• Install, modify, and repair commercial HVAC piping systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Install chilled water, condenser water, heating hot water, and refrigerant piping.
• Cut, thread, groove, and weld piping as required.
• Pressure test piping systems and ensure proper operation.
• Coordinate with project managers, foremen, and other trades to complete projects efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and safe job site.
• Follow all OSHA and company safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of commercial HVAC pipefitting experience.
• Experience with chilled water and hydronic piping preferred.
• Ability to read construction drawings and piping layouts.
• Experience using pipe threading, grooving, and other pipefitting equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check.
