What You’ll Do

Repair, install, replace, test, and fix the water and medical gas supply steam systems traps etc.

Knowledge of steam piping and components

Install new water systems, piping, and fixtures by blueprints, drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.

Ensure waste and vent lines are in good operating condition using a plumber’s snake, vacuum plunger, or jet washer.

Assist other staff members or contractors on projects or equipment installations.

Complete plumbing safety inspections on backflow devices.

Provide training to other staff members so they can perform light plumbing maintenance and repair.

Perform general maintenance and building systems operational duties as assigned or directed.

Respond to emergency situations, summoning extra help as needed.

Follow all activity policies and procedures, always including all HSE-related requirements.

Finish the HSE programs & activities as required, including incident investigations, interviews, auditing, and assessment, etc.

Report any conditions that could result in an accident or injury to management. What You’ll Need

High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

Plumbing certification at the Journeyman level required. Medical Gas certification and Backflow certification preferred. Valid Driver’s License required.
