Duties

• Prepare comprehensive plumbing estimates for commercial construction projects by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and project documents.
• Utilize advanced estimating software such as Skysite or Trimble to develop accurate cost projections.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to review project scope, clarify requirements, and negotiate pricing terms effectively.
• Conduct detailed quantity takeoffs and cost analysis to ensure competitive yet profitable bids.
• Manage subcontractor and supplier quotations, ensuring alignment with project budgets and schedules.
• Monitor project costs during execution to support cost control initiatives and identify potential overruns early.
• Review contracts, change orders, and project documentation to maintain consistency with estimates and contractual obligations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction estimating, specifically within the commercial plumbing sector.
• Strong proficiency with Skysite, Trimble, and other construction estimating tools.
