Customer Service Representative / Dispatcher — Plumbing Company

Overview

Central Texas Plumbing Solutions is looking for an energetic, organized Customer Service Representative / Dispatcher to be the first point of contact for our customers. In this role, you'll answer inbound calls, schedule service appointments, and dispatch technicians using ServiceTitan to keep our residential and commercial jobs running on time. Your communication skills and attention to detail will directly shape the customer experience and keep our field team moving efficiently. This is a fast-paced, people-first role with room to grow within the company.

Responsibilities

- Answer inbound customer calls promptly and professionally, addressing questions and booking service appointments

- Schedule and dispatch plumbing technicians using ServiceTitan, our scheduling and dispatch software

- Coordinate technician schedules to ensure timely arrivals and efficient use of the day

- Follow up with customers on quotes, appointment confirmations, reminders, and review requests

- Handle customer concerns and complaints professionally, escalating when needed

- Follow up with customers on occasional past-due account balances and payment reminders

- Maintain accurate customer and job records within ServiceTitan

- Support the office and field teams with day-to-day administrative tasks

Qualifications

- 1+ years of experience in customer service, call center, dispatch, or a similar phone-based role

- Strong communication skills — clear, patient, and professional on the phone, including when discussing billing

- Comfortable learning new software; experience with ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, or similar scheduling/CRM platforms a plus

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for scheduling and data entry

- Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced office environment

- Reliable and punctual

- Home services, trades, or field service industry experience a plus but not required
