General Maintenance or Licensed Plumber

Sinton ISD is seeking qualified applicants to fill a maintenance position. Depending on the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate, the position may be filled as either a General Maintenance Worker or a Licensed Plumber. Compensation and placement will be based on the candidate's credentials, experience, and assigned duties.

#### Qualifications

#### Option 1: Licensed Plumber (Pay Grade 6)

• Current Texas Journeyman Plumber License required
• Experience installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems
• Knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations
• Ability to independently diagnose and repair plumbing issues
• Placement on Maintenance Pay Grade MT-6

#### Option 2: General Maintenance Worker (Pay Grade 4)

• Experience in building maintenance, construction, facilities maintenance, or related field
• Plumbing repair experience preferred
• Ability to perform general maintenance and repair duties throughout district facilities
• Placement on Maintenance Pay Grade MT-4

### Duties May Include

• Plumbing repairs and fixture replacement
• Building and grounds maintenance
• Carpentry, painting, and minor electrical repairs
• Preventive maintenance
• Responding to maintenance work orders
• Emergency repairs as needed
• Safe operation of district vehicles, tools, and equipment

Salary placement will be based on qualifications and assigned position.
