HVAC & Plumbing Technician

Location: Elizabeth City, NC

The HVAC & Plumbing Technician is responsible for performing quality assurance inspections, punch-out activities, troubleshooting, repairs, and corrective work on HVAC and plumbing systems in newly constructed homes. This position ensures all installations meet company standards, manufacturer specifications, applicable codes, and homeowner expectations prior to closing. The technician will identify deficiencies, complete necessary repairs and adjustments, verify proper system operation, and ensure homes are delivered with the highest level of quality and craftsmanship.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of residential HVAC and/or plumbing installation, service, maintenance, or quality assurance experience.
• Working knowledge of residential HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and installation specifications.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and diagnostic instruments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
