Position Purpose

The Inside Sales Representative is a customer-focused sales professional who supports plumbing and HVAC contractors and customers through knowledgeable phone-based service and product guidance, with a primary emphasis on plumbing products, materials, and applications. This role is responsible for building strong customer relationships, identifying customer needs, and recommending plumbing solutions that support successful residential and light commercial projects.

HVAC experience is welcomed and considered a plus; plumbing knowledge and interest are the primary focus of this role. Through collaboration, industry expertise, and a commitment to service, this position contributes to sales growth. This is a full-time position based at our Meriden, CT branch, located at 300 Research Parkway.

Essential Functions

Deliver exceptional customer service by providing professional, timely, and accurate support to customers primarily over the phone. Answer incoming calls promptly and courteously, addressing plumbing and HVAC product inquiries, pricing, availability, and order status. Accurately enter and process customer orders while ensuring all details meet company standards and procedures. Actively listen to customers to understand their needs, ask thoughtful questions, and recommend appropriate plumbing and HVAC products, with a primary focus on plumbing solutions.
