Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, valves, and drainage in commercial and residential settings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts.
• Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment to assemble and modify piping systems.
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to facilitate installation or repairs.
• Conduct remodeling projects by replacing or upgrading existing plumbing fixtures and systems.
• Collaborate with construction teams to ensure plumbing work integrates seamlessly with carpentry, HVAC, and other trades.
• Read basic math measurements to cut pipes accurately and assemble components precisely according to schematics.
• Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues quickly and implement effective solutions on-site.
• Maintain safety standards by following protocols for working at heights, confined spaces, or with hazardous materials.
• Assist in the assembly of plumbing components on-site or in workshops as needed.
