Journeyman plumber

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, valves, and appliances on construction sites and in existing buildings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise plumbing layouts.
• Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to complete installations efficiently.
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols.
• Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
• Collaborate with construction teams, carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate project timelines and ensure seamless execution.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including schematics updates and maintenance logs.

Skills

• Proven experience in construction plumbing with a strong understanding of plumbing codes and safety standards.
• Proficiency in welding, pipe threading, and working with various hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings accurately.
