Journeyman Plumber

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in plumbing systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a strong understanding of construction plumbing, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work in various environments. The Journeyperson Plumber will be responsible for ensuring all plumbing work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.
• Perform pipe threading, welding, and other plumbing techniques as required.
• Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and ensure compliance with local codes.
• Collaborate with contractors and other tradespeople on remodeling projects.
• Provide field service support for plumbing emergencies and routine maintenance.
• Utilize basic math skills for measuring, cutting, and fitting pipes accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
• Troubleshoot plumbing problems effectively and efficiently.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Journeyperson Plumber or similar role.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various plumbing tools and equipment.
• Familiarity with construction plumbing practices and local building codes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with plumbing work, including lifting heavy materials.
• Valid commercial driving license is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in maintenance person services or remodeling is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
