Journeyman Plumber

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in plumbing systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing codes and regulations, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The Journeyperson Plumber will be responsible for ensuring that all plumbing work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools to perform various plumbing tasks.
• Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures according to specifications.
• Conduct pipe threading and welding as necessary for system installations.
• Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective solutions.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on remodeling projects.
• Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Journeyperson Plumber or similar role.
• Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Valid commercial driving license preferred but not required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
