Journeyman Plumber

Description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Journeyman Plumber to join our residential remodeling team specializing in bathroom renovations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in residential plumbing systems, fixture installation, drain and water line modifications, and remodeling projects. This position requires excellent craftsmanship, attention to detail, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with project managers, electricians, carpenters, and other trades.

Key Responsibilities

Perform plumbing installations and modifications for residential bathroom remodeling projects. Install, repair, and replace water supply lines, drain systems, vents, and plumbing fixtures. Rough-in plumbing systems according to project plans and local building codes. Install tubs, showers, toilets, vanities, sinks, faucets, and related fixtures. Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues encountered during remodeling projects. Conduct pressure testing, leak detection, and system inspections. Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal plumbing regulations. Coordinate with project managers and other trades to maintain project schedules. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Communicate professionally with homeowners regarding project progress and plumbing-related questions. Complete required documentation, work orders, and inspection reports. Assist with obtaining permits and coordinating inspections as needed. Operate and maintain plumbing tools, equipment, and company vehicles safely. Requirements: Valid Texas Journeyman Plumber License. Minimum 3–5 years of residential plumbing experience, preferably in remodeling. Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems, codes, and best practices.
