Journeyman Plumber

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Plumber to join our small, family-owned plumbing company. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in plumbing, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in various settings, while ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards. The majority (~90%) of work will be residential services with *NO HIGH-PRESSURE SALES.*

Job Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings.
• Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
• Perform field service tasks, addressing plumbing issues as they arise on-site.
• Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential problems or necessary repairs.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with local plumbing codes and regulations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
• Engage in heavy lifting as required for the installation of plumbing systems.
• Complete paperwork using our app

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a plumber with a strong mechanical knowledge of plumbing systems and a minimum of 4 years of experience.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the trade.
• Experience in construction plumbing.
• A valid NYS driving license is required.
• Ability to lift job materials (50 lbs)
