Journeyman Plumber

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, valves, and appliances on construction sites or during remodeling projects
• Operate hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools safely and effectively
• Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment to facilitate installation processes while adhering to safety protocols
• Perform basic math calculations for measurements, pipe sizing, and material estimates to ensure precise work
• Collaborate with carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate project timelines and ensure seamless integration of systems
• Troubleshoot plumbing issues on-site using mechanical knowledge and field service experience; perform routine maintenance as needed
• Follow safety guidelines rigorously during all phases of work; maintain a clean and organized work environment

Experience

• Proven construction site experience with a focus on plumbing installation and repair in commercial or residential settings
• Completion of an accredited apprenticeship program or equivalent journeyman certification in plumbing
• Ability to operate heavy machinery such as pipe threading machines and power tools safely is essential
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and best practices for field service work is required
