Journeyman Plumber

Job Summary

Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances on construction sites.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts.
• Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to complete installations and repairs.
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of plumbing systems during construction phases.
• Collaborate with carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other trades to ensure seamless project progress.
• Follow all safety guidelines related to construction plumbing, welding, and site operations.

Experience

• Proven field experience in construction plumbing or related trades within commercial or residential settings.
• Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings accurately.
• Hands-on experience with pipe threading, welding, installation of fixtures, and use of hand tools and power tools.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and general mechanical principles relevant to plumbing installations.
• Familiarity with construction site safety practices and heavy lifting techniques.
