Journeyman Plumber

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing systems, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship on every project. As a Journeyman Plumber, you will ensure that all plumbing systems are installed and functioning properly. This is a commission paid job.

Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings.
• Perform heavy lifting as required for the installation of pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing components.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in various construction environments.
• Conduct field service calls to troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide timely solutions.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and building codes while performing plumbing tasks.
• Assist in remodeling projects by installing new plumbing fixtures and systems as needed.

Skills

• Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods on construction sites.
• Experience with hand tools commonly used in plumbing work.
• Knowledge of basic math principles for accurate measurements and calculations related to plumbing installations.
• Ability to plumb effectively while maintaining high standards of quality workmanship.
• Familiarity with remodeling processes related to plumbing systems is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills for diagnosing issues in existing plumbing systems.
