Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson Plumber - Service to join our team. In this role, you will install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems for commercial and industrial clients. You will be expected to apply your knowledge of plumbing systems, safety protocols, and building codes to ensure every project is completed to the highest standards. You may work independently or with a team and will often collaborate with contractors, clients, and other professionals.

Key Responsibilities

•

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, valves, fixtures, and fittings

•

Interpret blueprints and specifications to plan system layouts

•

Cut, thread, and assemble pipes using proper tools and techniques

•

Perform welding and soldering tasks as needed

•

Follow plumbing codes and safety procedures at all times

•

Deliver professional, courteous service to clients

•

Assist in training apprentices by demonstrating techniques and explaining best practices

•

Keep accurate records and maintain clean, organized work areas

Qualifications

•

Journeyperson Plumber Certification or equivalent trade qualification

•

In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and materials

•

Solid understanding of plumbing codes and safety standards

•

Ability to read and work from blueprints and technical drawings

•

Skilled in pipefitting, welding, soldering, and related techniques

•

Strong attention to detail and time management skills

•

Good communication and customer service abilities
