Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems on construction sites, including piping, fixtures, and appliances.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise plumbing layouts.
• Conduct construction estimating for plumbing projects to ensure accurate material procurement and budgeting.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, welding equipment, and other mechanical devices safely and efficiently.
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to coordinate installation schedules and troubleshoot issues on-site.
• Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Read schematics and technical manuals to diagnose problems accurately and implement effective solutions.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed for project documentation.

Skills

• Extensive experience in construction plumbing with a strong understanding of pipe threading, fittings, fixtures, and pipe installation techniques.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and mechanical knowledge relevant to plumbing systems.
• Skilled in construction estimating to support project planning and resource allocation.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical devices safely.
• Knowledge of construction site safety practices including heavy lifting techniques and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Experience with remodeling projects, maintenance tasks, assembly work, handyman services, and general construction activities.
• Valid license as a Master Plumber with the ability to oversee plumbing operations on large-scale projects.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the capacity to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and interpreting technical schematics accurately.
