Master Plumber (Council Bluffs, IA)

Vision Electric is expanding our plumbing department and looking for a Master Plumber! Your team is yours to build!

Job Responsibilities

• Carry out/oversee regular maintenance of plumbing systems at agricultural, residential, commercial and industrial sites
• Estimate new work
• Perform/oversee installation of plumbing systems on new construction as well as remodels
• Inspect and troubleshoot any problems on previously installed plumbing systems at commercial and residential sites
• Perform/oversee any necessary repairs to previously installed systems
• Keep up to date with current safety regulations and requirements for the various plumbing systems a company installs and maintains
• Follow all current regulations for plumbing work to ensure that all installed systems pass inspections
• Provide information regarding plumbing system upkeep to clients
• Travel to project sites
• Other responsibilities as needed

• Job Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED
• Current Iowa Master plumber's license
• Thorough knowledge of plumbing system maintenance and repairs
• Ability to read blueprints and lay out plumbing accordingly
• Ability to design/build plumbing systems per code
• Ability to drive company vehicles to various commercial and residential sites for work
• A valid driver’s license
• Ability to operate equipment as needed
• Ability to lead/coach/train employees and run an efficient job site
• Excellent Communication Skills

• Some travel required
