Scope of Position

The Mechanical Assembly Technician (Plumbing & Electrical) assembles, installs, and tests electrical and plumbing systems in accordance with schematics, drawings, and work instructions. This role supports quality, cost, safety, and delivery objectives through hands‑on assembly, inspection, and functional testing of commercial and industrial water treatment products.

This position reports to the Value Stream Supervisor and is onsite.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Manufacture components based on designs, drawings, and work instructions.
• Review electrical schematics and establish accurate electrical box layouts.
• Install electrical components such as switches, breakers, sensors, and transformers.
• Pull, route, and terminate high‑ and low‑voltage wiring into electrical boxes per specifications.
• Perform plumbing assembly of PVC, CPVC, and stainless‑steel components to build final assemblies.
• Measure, cut, join, and secure piping components using appropriate fittings and methods.
• Inspect assembled plumbing systems for proper alignment, fit, and leaks.
• Perform basic electrical testing and troubleshooting during assembly.
