Eagle Creek Drilling Company is hiring experienced Operators / Plumbers for lead water service line replacement projects in Escanaba, Michigan and South Haven, Michigan.

This position involves replacing lead water service lines with copper water lines from the main line to residential homes. We are looking for dependable, experienced workers who understand underground utility work and can safely operate in residential and municipal environments.

Local housing is provided for qualified workers assigned to these Michigan project locations.

Job Responsibilities

Perform lead water pipe replacement from the main line to the home

Install copper water service lines

Operate equipment as needed, including excavators and backhoes

Safely dig and work around underground utilities

Assist with excavation, plumbing connections, backfill, and site cleanup

Follow all safety procedures and project requirements

Work with crew members, inspectors, and project supervisors to complete jobs efficiently and professionally

Qualifications

Professional plumbing experience required

Experience with underground utility work required

Experience digging around gas, electric, water, sewer, and other underground utilities

Operator experience preferred, including excavator and backhoe operation

Class A CDL is a plus

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Must be dependable, safety-minded, and able to work as part of a crew

Pay and Benefits
