Responsibilities

• Read and interpret detailed construction plans, technical drawings, and blueprints to accurately install piping systems.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install pipes using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
• Ensure all piping work complies with safety regulations, including OSHA standards and respiratory protection protocols.
• Perform manual handling and heavy lifting of pipes and related materials safely and efficiently.
• Climb ladders, scaffolding, or other structures as needed to access work areas safely.
• Follow all construction workplace safety regulations, including implementation of OSHA safety standards and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Conduct inspections of installed piping systems for leaks or defects and make necessary adjustments or repairs.

Skills

• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and technical drawings accurately.
• Mechanical knowledge related to piping systems, fittings, valves, and related components.
• Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations and OSHA safety standards.
