Tesla is seeking a skilled Construction Pipefitter to join our dynamic Engineering-Procurement-Construction (EPC) project team. What You'll Do
* Minimum of 5+ years of experience in pipefitting/welding at journeyman level or higher in industrial or commercial settings * Install new waste piping, water piping, compressed air piping, supports, racks, related panels, and devices * Work with various piping types, including copper, stainless steel, PVC, cast iron, and carbon steel * Use P&IDs, spool drawings, and shop drawings to plan work scopes, install improvements, and troubleshoot issues * Perform a wide variety of job scopes from planning and execution to cleanup and material handling * Display positive attitudes and practice good work ethics that reflect the mission, philosophy, and goals of the company * Complete tasks in a timely manner and provide feedback
What You'll Bring
* Strong knowledge in installing and troubleshooting all types of plumbing systems * Ability to interpret P&IDs, shop and spool drawings, specifications, shop/fabrication drawings, and UPC codes * Ability to produce parts lists and work plans based on drawings or field observations and routing * Ability to produce as-built drawings for work perform to test and commission all work per Tesla procedures, building department codes * Ability to complete job scopes outside of normal core competencies as required * Strong working knowledge of job site safety, with the ability to thoroughly evaluate job hazards and complete pre-work task planning * Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of management, demonstrating initiative and the ability to work i...
