*MUST HAVE SHIPYARD EXPERIENCE AND BE AVAILABLE TO WORK MANDATORY OVERTIME!*

*1st Class Pipefitters in Pascagoula, MS for Shipyard*

MUST KNOW HOW TO BURN WITH A TORCH

*

GUARANTEED 45+ hours, time and a half after 40 will be paid.

• Build or repair Pipe in Fabrication Shop, or repair in Ship-Yard setting
• Cut, shape, fit, or join Pipe or other construction materials
• Cut and Bevel
• Perform safety inspections in construction or resource extraction setting
• Read and interpret blueprints and Bluebook
• Use measuring devices in construction math calculations
• Understand Take-Off's & specifications
• Move or lift heavy objects using Overhead Crane and Rigging
• Plan or organize work read technical drawings
• Determine project methods and procedures
• Fitting tools such as (tape measure, square, level, grinder, torch)
• Examine products or work to verify conformance to specifications
• Use hazardous materials information, adhere to safety procedures

Pass a urine drug screen and physical (pft/respirator clearance)

Written Pipefitters test required along with Skills Test which consist of

*Knowing:*

**circumference on pipe OD X 3.14

**Takeout on 45. Pipe size x .625

**Takeout on short 90. = to pipe size

**Takeout on long 90. Pipe size x 1.5

**Formula for offsets. Offset x 1.414

*Skills Test-*

Carbon Steel cut with torch as listed

--3” or 4” pipe saddle on 90 degrees

--3” or 4” pipe cut square with bevel
