is currently seeking a Pipefitter for projects based in Baxter Healthcare located in Marion, NC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and pipefitting, with a focus on delivering high-quality work and exceptional service to our clients. As a welder/pipefitter, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate installation, welding, and maintenance of piping systems, while adhering to safety standards and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This is a full-time role and not a contract or freelance position.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction and fabrication drawings
• Build and install piping systems with accurate layout and fit-up
• Cut, prep, and weld piping and structural materials
• Perform multi-axis spool welding while maintaining tight tolerances
• Generate legible isometric drawings for system layout
• Execute arc and gas welding in all positions (flat, vertical, overhead, etc.)
• Work with stainless-steel piping and tubing
• Lead and delegate tasks for crew members
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
• Support mechanical tasks and assist team members as needed

Qualifications

• Proven experience in welding and pipefitting
• Proficiency with stainless-steel piping and tubing
• Ability to read and understand technical documents and safety protocols
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
• Basic math skills (fractions, decimals, measurements)
