Role snapshot

• Pay: $38–$48.47 per hour
• Shift: First shift primary; willing to assist across shifts when needed
• Scope: Access the entire plant and grounds to keep utilities and process systems reliable and safe

What will you do?

• Troubleshoot and correct issues within plumbing and piping networks supporting steam, compressed air, irrigation, sump pumps, and related systems
• Install, maintain, and repair plant utilities and industrial piping
• Apply deep pump theory knowledge to diagnose, service, and rebuild units
• Use pneumatic principles to track down faults and restore operation
• Thread and fit pipe across multiple materials: iron, steel, stainless, copper, PVC
• Make fast, clean joints using PRO Press
• Weld (gas and arc), solder, and perform sanitary welding to certification-level standards
• Source and order parts from OEM manuals, drawings, and schematics
• Communicate clearly in writing and speech; follow and give instructions
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities
• Run, monitor, and service boiler systems
• Operate and maintain refrigeration systems
