Plumber

Overview

We are seeking a motivated Plumber to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems across various residential and commercial sites. Your expertise will ensure that water systems and plumbing infrastructure meet safety standards, local building codes, and project specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from remodeling to new construction, utilizing your technical knowledge and hands-on skills to deliver high-quality results. Pay is negotiable and dependent on experience.

Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial projects using hand tools, power tools, and other specialized equipment.
• Interpret schematics, blueprints and construction plans to accurately execute plumbing layouts and modifications.
• Conduct plumbing inspections to identify issues with water systems, drainage, and piping; perform repairs or replacements as needed to ensure optimal operation.
• Use welding techniques where necessary for pipe joining or repairs; adhere strictly to safety protocols and local building codes during all operations.
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment; operate commercial driving vehicles for transporting supplies when required.

Skills

• Plumbing experience with an ability to work independently and within a team.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools and other plumbing equipment.
• Mechanical knowledge of water systems, HVAC integration, and plumbing system maintenance and repair.
• Experience with remodeling projects, assembly work, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Knowledge of heavy lifting techniques, safety procedures on worksites and familiarity with local building codes related to plumbing installations and repairs.
