Plumber

Overview

We are seeking a motivated Plumber to join our team at Jensen's Plumbing, Heating & Cooling. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems across various residential and commercial sites. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from remodeling to new construction, utilizing your technical knowledge and hands-on skills to deliver high-quality results. Pay is negotiable and dependent on experience and/or licensure.

Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial projects using hand tools, power tools, and other specialized equipment.
• Interpret schematics, blueprints and construction plans to accurately execute plumbing layouts and modifications.
• Conduct plumbing inspections to identify issues with water systems, drainage, and piping; perform repairs or replacements as needed to ensure optimal operation.
• Use welding techniques where necessary for pipe joining or repairs; adhere strictly to safety protocols and local building codes during all operations.
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment; operate commercial driving vehicles for transporting supplies when required.

Skills

• Background in plumbing with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and within a team.
• Proficient in using hand tools, power tools and other plumbing equipment, as well as soldering, welding, and brazing as needed.
• Mechanical knowledge of water systems and plumbing systems maintenance and repair.
• Familiar with heavy lifting techniques and safety procedures on worksites.
• Knowledge of local building codes related to plumbing installations and repairs.
