Plumber/Maintenance Tech

Diversified Construction and Facilities Maintenance is hiring a full time Commercial Plumbing Technician. This individual must have plumbing industry experience with the ability to perform minor to complex service work on plumbing systems in commercial environments. Applicant will be required to install, repair and perform diagnostics. To be a successful Plumber Technician you should be able to work independently and solve problems as quickly and efficiently as possible. Pay is based on experience. Valid drivers license is required. DRUG FREE ENVIRONMENT

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install repair and maintain plumbing in commercial environments.
• Perform minor to complex service work.
• Install, repair and maintain all types of plumbing systems and fixtures.
• Assemble pipe, tubing, and fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, soldering and more.
• Select all materials needed for installation and or repairs.
• Troubleshooting and resolving problems.
• Responsible for all other duties as assigned.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

• 2+ years experience.
• Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
• Good listening and communicating skills.
• Must be self-motivated, thrive in a fast moving environments, and able to manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Ability to communicate professionally at all levels of the organization and with external contacts.
• Valid Driver's Licenses and transportation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $36.00 per hour
