Job Overview

Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts.
• Perform pipe threading, welding, and assembly tasks to ensure secure connections and system integrity.
• Conduct inspections of plumbing installations on construction sites to verify compliance with building codes and safety standards.
• Collaborate with carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate project timelines and ensure seamless integration of systems.
• Use basic math skills for measuring, calculating pipe lengths, flow rates, and material quantities.
• Assist with remodeling projects by removing old fixtures and installing new plumbing fixtures as needed.

Experience

• Proven experience in construction plumbing or related fields with a strong understanding of plumbing systems.
• Hands-on experience with construction site work, including heavy lifting and working at heights or in confined spaces.
• Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and mechanical diagrams essential for precise installation.
• Knowledge of welding techniques and pipe threading processes to create durable connections.
