Carabetta Property Management is looking to hire a licensed Plumber to work throughout their properties in CT!

1st shift, Monday-Friday, Weekends as needed, On-call in rotation

*Carabetta Property Management is actively seeking a skilled and reliable* *Plumber* *to join our Maintenance team to support in our well-maintained, residential and commercial properties.*

*his role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day, with strong troubleshooting skills, who can take ownership and efficiently solve problems independently.*

Responsibilities

*Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:*

• Assemble, install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heating, water, and drainage system pipes, fittings, and fixtures.
• Perform demolition and removal of old fixtures and piping.
• Handle materials, distribute supplies, complete basic layouts, and drill/cut holes in wood and concrete (including core-boring).
• Review blueprints and adhere to applicable building codes to determine proper work procedures.
• Rough-in and install various types of plumbing material.
• Maintain a clean and safe job site during and after construction, installation, or repair work.
• Collaborate with property managers and maintenance staff to complete work orders efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work, materials used, and associated costs.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.

Qualifications

• Current and active P2 license (minimum) issued by the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection is REQUIRED.
• Technical school training or an electrical certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of residential/commercial plumbing experience; property management or facilities experience is a plus.
• Strong decision-making abilities and excellent communication skills.
• Strong understanding of plumbing codes, safety procedures, and proper tool usage.
