Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment according to project specifications and blueprints
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts and modifications
• Perform welding and pipe fitting tasks to ensure secure connections for water supply and drainage systems.
• Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols.
• Use basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout planning during installation or repairs
• Collaborate with other trades such as carpentry and HVAC technicians to coordinate project timelines and ensure quality standards are met

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction plumbing or related fields with hands-on work on construction sites
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, schematics, and mechanical principles
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, welding equipment, and other construction tools
• Ability to read blueprints and technical schematics accurately
• Physical strength for heavy lifting, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces; comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Basic math proficiency for measurements and calculations necessary for precise installations
