Plumbing and Carpentry Technician

Your future role at a glance: Location: Chicago, ILFacility: Resurrection VillageDepartment: MaintenanceSchedule: Days l Full-timeSalary Range: $28.21 - $38.16 per hour How you'll make an impact in this role: * Standard Plumbing & Mechanical Maintenance: Execute standard facility plumbing repairs, monitor pipe circulation, handle fixture installations, and perform basic electrical troubleshooting. * Advanced Carpentry & Cabinetry Installation: Construct, repair, and install custom and standard cabinetry, countertops, shelving, doors, frameworks, and wood structures according to blueprints or layouts. * Flooring & Tile Work: Perform hands-on installation, repair, and replacement of various flooring materials, cove bases, ceiling tiles, and wall/floor tile work. * General Structural Maintenance: Perform architectural repairs, drywall taping, structural woodwork adjustments, and finish work to ensure the facility remains fully functional. * Environment Safety: Assist departments across the facility to maintain a safe, secure, and compliant environment for patients and staff.

What minimum qualifications you'll need:

Education:* High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. + Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
