Plumbing Installer

*Job description:*

We are looking for full-time experienced plumbers to efficiently undertake a variety of plumbing tasks. A successful plumber must have a thorough knowledge of the Kentucky Plumbing code. They must be able to work efficiently with great attention to detail.

*Qualifications:*

• High School or equivalent
• Journeyman Plumber License (Preferred)
• Driver's License (Required)
• 2-Years experience (Preferred)

*Responsibilities:*

• Read blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal and water supply systems.
• Cut, assemble and install pipes and tubes with attention to existing infrastructures (e.g. electrical wiring)
• Install and maintain water supply systems
• Locate and repair issues with water supply lines (e.g. leaks)
• Repair or replace broken drainage lines

*Skills:*

• Proven experience as a plumber
• Solid understanding of water distribution and disposal systems
• Working knowledge of drains and water lines
• Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, augers, etc.)
• Good physical condition and strength

*Additional:*

• Pay depends on experience
• Must be able to follow instructions
• Work well with others
• Hand tools will not be supplied by company
• Must be willing to pursue, develop and participate in continuing education
• Must be able to work with inspectors, suppliers and co-workers to ensure correct project work, while abiding by all codes
• Must be able to regularly sit, stand, walk, bend and lift for prolonged periods of time
• Must be able to life up to 75lbs
