Plumbing Roving Maintenance Technician

Position Summary

Performs various maintenance duties necessary to maintain and enhance the value of the community. Supports and aids the Maintenance Supervisor or Community Manager in all phases of the overall physical maintenance of the property. This includes but is not limited to; the general maintenance of the property, expense control, and adherence to preventive maintenance programs and required state and federal safety programs. Essential Functions and Responsibilities

The Plumbing Roving Maintenance Technician will complete a broad variety of tasks for the company including but not limited to the following as other duties may be assigned:

• Installs pipes, pipe fittings, valves, appliance and fixtures as needed.
• Ability to procure and assemble pipe sections, diagnose and trouble shoot plumbing issues.
• Inspects and maintains HVAC systems to ensure they operate effectively.
• Performs all aspects of property maintenance, including preventative, corrective, deferred, and emergency maintenance under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor or Community Manager.
• Performs appliance, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, pool, custodial, and carpentry work as necessary.
• Ensures exterior curb appeal of community and cleanliness of grounds.
• Assists in daily pool/spa maintenance, laundry room, recreation room, rental office, restrooms, and common area upkeep.
• Maintains high standards of resident service and relations for entire staff.
• Ensures that residents are provided with a clean, safe, well-maintained community.
• Ensures that apartments are rent ready within 3 to 5 days after they have been vacated.
