General Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Plumbing Supervisor to oversee residential plumbing operations across multiple new construction job sites in the Dayton, Ohio area. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with a strong background in residential plumbing and proven experience managing field crews. You’ll ensure that all installations meet quality standards, safety requirements, and local code compliance—while keeping projects on schedule and within scope.

### Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily plumbing operations at residential new construction sites across Dayton, Ohio.
• Assign, schedule, and manage plumbing crews; monitor attendance, productivity, and workmanship quality.
• Review and interpret blueprints, site plans, and job specifications to ensure proper layout and installation.
• Ensure all plumbing systems meet Ohio state and local codes, job specifications, and safety standards.
• Coordinate closely with project managers, site superintendents, inspectors, and subcontractors.
• Provide on-site technical guidance and troubleshooting support to field crews.
• Manage material orders, deliveries, and inventory across multiple active job sites.
• Conduct routine quality assurance inspections to verify compliance and performance.
• Maintain a strong culture of safety, leading regular toolbox talks, safety audits, and adherence to OSHA and KEP standards.
• Mentor and train apprentices and journeymen to help them progress toward licensing and skill development.
• Maintain accurate records of work progress, incidents, materials, and labor using mobile and digital reporting tools.
