Plumbing Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing, construction, and field service. This role involves working on various projects, including residential and commercial plumbing installations, repairs, and remodeling. The Plumbing Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all plumbing systems are installed and maintained according to industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in accordance with local codes and regulations.
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
• Perform heavy lifting as required for the installation of pipes and fixtures.
• Thread pipes and ensure proper connections using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to complete projects efficiently.
• Participate in remodeling projects by installing new plumbing fixtures and systems as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction plumbing or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform basic math calculations for measurements.
• Experience with pipe threading and welding techniques is a plus.
• Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on construction sites.
• Valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
