Process Pipefitter / Purge Welder

Duties

• Perform welding and fitting tasks according to PNID’s, Isometric drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Operate various hand and power tools to cut, shape, and weld metal components.
• Read and interpret PNID’s, Isometric drawings, schematics, and technical drawings to determine welding requirements.
• Set up and operate welding equipment, including tig, mig, stick welding machines.
• Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate dimensions and fit of welded components.
• Inspect welded joints for quality and accuracy, making any necessary adjustments or repairs
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and according to specifications.

Skills

• Skilled at purge welding and has knowledge of process welding on food production lines.
• Proficient in tig purge welding, stick welding techniques and able to produce high-quality sanitary welds.
• Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication processes and techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret PNID’s, isometric drawings, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of basic math skills for measurements and calculations
• Experience operating hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment.
• Ability to operate a crane or rigging equipment safely.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.

Pay: $24.00 - $38.00 per hour
