Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in residential settings
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts
• Use hand tools and power tools to cut, assemble, and install plumbing components with precision
• Perform pipe threading and welding as needed for custom installations or repairs
• Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify leaks, corrosion or other issues before they escalate
• Collaborate with construction teams on new builds or remodeling projects to ensure plumbing aligns with project specifications
• Lift heavy materials safely and utilize carpentry skills when framing or modifying spaces for plumbing installations
• Read basic math measurements to ensure accurate fitting of pipes and fixtures
• Follow safety protocols on construction sites and operate heavy machinery or construction vehicles as required
• Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used for each project
