Residential Service Plumber

Position Summary

Looking for a Residential Service plumber to join our team! Job duties include; Installs, repair of pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, drainage and gas systems, according to specifications and plumbing codes. Our ideal candidate will be one that is looking for a secure job for the long term.

Duties and Requirements

• Punctuality: Being on time to calls
• Friendly demeanor when in front of customers
• Troubleshooting with manufacturers.
• Install of Water Treatment Systems
• Install and lifting of up to 50gal water heaters alone.
• Ability to work side-by-side with another when needed.
• Knowledge of all different types of water supply piping and how to repair/replace.
• Knowledge of all different types of drainage piping and how to repair/replace.
• Must have own hand tools (all power tools, Milwaukee, will be provided by Focus Plumbing)
• Keeping track of van stock and restocking when necessary (Focus Plumbing supplies all material needed for any service calls)
• Keeping service van in clean condition.
• Educating homeowners and giving options for repairs/replacements.
• Invoicing and billing customers after job completion.
• Have a problem solving and team first mentality.
• Basic understanding of math, reading and writing in English.
• Bilingual is a plus but not required.
• Must be willing to work extended hours when necessary.
• Must be willing to work On Call; which occasionally includes weekends and holidays.
• Good Communication; with office staff, co-workers, and of course, the customers.

Qualifications

• 5-year plumbing experience; experience can be split between commercial, residential service and new construction.
• Journeyperson license; or enough proven working hours to take and pass any required tests.
• *Willingness to pursue Journeyperson license*
• Must be able to pass background check
