Service plumbers-

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience

1+ years of residential service experience.

Licensing

None required but P1, P2 or Plumbing Technician license preferred. ( license bonus paid!)

Skills

Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, diagnostic, customer service, and communication skills.

Physical Ability

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces, standing, kneeling, sitting, laying or reaching.

Tools

Must have basic plumbing hand and power tools and familiarity with plumbing tools (pipe cutters, threaders, drain cleaners and cameras).

Driving

A clean driving record and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities & Duties

Troubleshooting & Repair

Diagnose plumbing issues (leaks, clogged drains, broken pipes) and perform repairs on fixtures like sinks, toilets, water heaters, etc.

Installation & Maintenance

Install new piping, appliances (dishwashers, water heaters), and fixtures; maintain existing systems to ensure efficiency and prevent breakdowns.

Customer Service

Explain plumbing problems and repair options to customers and providing upfront pricing and educating them on system maintenance.

Code Compliance

Ensure all work meets local, state, and federal building codes.

Administrative Tasks

Prepare invoices, track parts inventory for the service van, and complete paperwork for repairs.

Safety

Follow safety regulations including wearing the appropriate proper protective equipment (PPE) and safely handling tools to prevent accidents.
