What You Will Do and How You Will Contribute

* Engage with customers, greet, and assist them to create a positive shopping experience * Help customers find the right products, provide recommendations and offer solutions for their projects * Stock and organize merchandise to maintain a clean, well-presented store * Answer phone calls in a polite and timely manner, addressing customer inquiries * Assist with inventory-related tasks, including performing cycle counts, verifying stock levels and maintaining accurate records * Upsell related items and promote the Do It Best reward program to build loyalty * Follow company standards and procedures to ensure smooth store operations * Process checkouts accurately, adhering to proper cash handling procedures * Continuously expand knowledge of products across all departments to enhance service and identify selling opportunities * Address and resolve customer issues with management support * Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment * Complete all assigned training to stay up-to-date with product knowledge and company policies * Assist in other departments/functions as needed to provide great customer service * Perform any other tasks as assigned by supervisors or management
