Traveling Pipefitter/Welder

Position Overview

We’re seeking an experienced Welder/Fitter with strong skills in TIG welding and stainless steel pipe fitting to join our traveling crew. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of performing high-quality welds in a fast-paced, project-driven environment. This position involves extensive travel across the United States to job sites, with all travel expenses covered.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on stainless steel pipe and related materials according to project specifications.
• Fit, align, and assemble pipes and components to required tolerances.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols accurately.
• Inspect completed welds for quality and conformity to project standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Adhere strictly to company safety policies and industry regulations.
• Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team on traveling job sites.

Qualifications

• Professional TIG welding experience with stainless steel pipe.
• Strong understanding of fitting principles, pipe layout, and welding procedures.
• Must be willing and able to travel nationwide for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments and conditions.
