Responsibilities

Assist senior plumbers with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems on construction sites and commercial properties. Support the reading and interpretation of blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation work. Utilize hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to complete plumbing tasks efficiently. Participate in remodeling, maintenance projects, and field service activities to enhance your practical skills. Help with pipe fitting, assembly, and basic math calculations required for precise measurements and installations. Contribute to site safety by following protocols during construction activities involving HVAC systems, carpentry elements, or handyman tasks. Learn to troubleshoot mechanical issues using technical knowledge of plumbing systems and schematics.

Skills

Strong interest or background in construction, plumbing, or related trades. Experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and pipe threading is highly desirable. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and understand mechanical diagrams. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for accurate installations. Knowledge of HVAC systems, carpentry basics, or remodeling projects is a plus. Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and maintenance practices. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive attitude toward learning new techniques in field service environments.

Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour
