Responsibilities

Assist experienced plumbers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems on construction sites or renovation projects. Learn to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project specifications. Handle hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to cut pipes, assemble fixtures, and perform basic plumbing tasks. Support pipe threading, fitting, and soldering activities under supervision to ensure proper system setup. Participate in site preparation activities including heavy lifting, material handling, and basic carpentry tasks as needed. Help with the inspection of plumbing components for quality control and adherence to safety standards. Contribute to remodeling projects by assisting with demolition, assembly, and cleanup processes.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; technical school coursework in construction or plumbing is a plus. Strong interest in construction plumbing, mechanical systems, or related fields. Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and construction site safety protocols. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights or in confined spaces when required.
