Certified Backflow Tester/Plumbing Service Technician

Responsibilities Deliver professional, courteous, and honest customer service during all interactions. Present solutions, discuss pricing, and obtain customer approval before beginning work. Proactively offer additional products, upgrades, and service agreements during service calls. Perform plumbing services, installations, and repairs in compliance with local plumbing codes and company standards. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of IPC plumbing code and apply it on each job. Safely operate and care for company vehicles and equipment, reporting any issues promptly. Accurately prepare and complete estimates and invoices, ensuring proper markup on parts. Document all findings, recommendations, and work performed using a handheld device. Collect payments from customers and submit all invoices, timesheets, and payments daily. Request all necessary permits prior to starting work. Participate in on-call rotation for emergency service calls as needed. Train and mentor apprentice plumbers as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex plumbing issues independently. Experience in sales or customer service is a plus.
