This is NOT an order-taking job.

If your idea of phone work is "take the info, type it in, say thank you, hang up" — this isn't for you. We're a busy, family-owned plumbing company in Fort Lauderdale, and every call that rings is a homeowner with a problem and money already spent on advertising to make that phone ring. Your job is to turn those calls into booked jobs.

Some calls book themselves. The ones that matter are the callers who are shopping around, unsure, or "just want a price." A robot loses those calls. You won't — because you know how to listen, build a little trust, offer a special or a service-call discount when it makes sense, and get them on the schedule. That's the skill we're hiring for, and it's why we pay a bonus on every job you book.

What you'll actually do

• Answer inbound calls from homeowners responding to our ads — sometimes two at once
• Ask the right questions, understand the problem, and set the right expectations
• Convert hesitant callers into booked appointments — using specials, discounts, and plain good conversation when needed
• Book jobs accurately into Workiz (we'll train you on it)
• Dispatch the right plumber based on location and job type, and keep techs updated throughout your shift
• Keep the board organized and jobs updated in real time

Who crushes this role

• Bilingual English/Spanish — required. You'll use both every single day.
• You've booked calls for a home service company — plumbing, HVAC, electrical, garage doors, locksmith, pest control, appliance repair, restoration. If you've been measured on a booking rate or call conversion, we definitely want to talk.
• You have some sales instinct. Maybe you've done inside sales, appointment setting, or retention — you know a call can be saved.
• You stay calm and sharp when two lines ring at once.
• Plumbing knowledge is a nice bonus, not required — the calls repeat themselves, and if you've done any home service phones, you'll pic...
