Experienced Service Plumber

Overview

B&K is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Service Plumber to join our small team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across a variety of residential and commercial plumbing . Your expertise will ensure that plumbing installations and repairs are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional eager to apply their plumbing knowledge that values craftsmanship and problem-solving skills.

The Company

B&K Plumbing is a small "mom and pop" shop that has been in business for over 45 years in Charlotte Harbor/Port Charlotte. Here at B&K we feel that weekends should be spent with Family and Friends, so we are not open on the weekends.

Working hours are from 8am to 4pm - Monday thru Friday. No on call

We offer 6 Paid Major Holidays and 1 week vacation after the completion of 1 year and then 2 weeks vacation after 2 years (2 weeks max.) We provide a work truck and gas card

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive plumbing repairs, installations, and maintenance on residential and commercial systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
• Must be able to commute back and forth to work, be on time and ready to work, no matter what the day brings.
• Must possess own hand tools and a cellphone and be able to work independently or with a team
• Utilize knowledge to troubleshoot complex plumbing issues
• Assist with remodeling projects by providing plumbing expertise and supporting carpentry or handyman tasks as needed
• Lift heavy materials safely during installation or repair work, following all safety protocols
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed for each project
• Possessing a CDL license is a plus, but not mandatory.
