Facilities General Engineer - Full Time - Plumber

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

*Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:*

* Responsible for the maintenance and repair of property utilities. * Troubleshoot, maintain and record inventory equipment replacement parts. * Maintain all building systems and equipment, including repairs, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, pneumatic, hydraulic equipment and appliances to ensure effective operation. * Inform management staff of problems requiring maintenance and report any equipment deficiencies. * Receive keys, radio and job assignments daily, coordinate work plan and apply standard maintenance practices. * Maintain and repair all building systems and equipment. * Communicate with other shifts to ensure any follow-up on on-going projects in order to minimize down time. * Respond to accident scenes, emergency calls (fire, smoke, etc.) and observe and assist. * Act as a maintenance representative for the Property Operations department. * Maintain daily record of work requests, preventative maintenance work requests via smart phone/device using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) HotSoS. * Responsible for maintaining optimum operating conditions for proper building operations during varying weather and building loads. * Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position.
